How long does it take to get a surgery authorized? And scheduled?

Getting surgery authorized can take anywhere from 1 day to 3 weeks.  If a patient has private insurance the process can take anywhere from 1 to 15 days.  Patients with Workers Compensation the process can take 1 to 3 weeks. 

 

How long does it take to get an MRI authorized? And scheduled?

Getting an MRI authorized takes 3 days to a week depending on insurance. 

 

Once an MRI is authorized by a patient's insurance company, scheduling with the facility can be done as soon as possible. 

 

How do I get my medical records?

Our office can provide you with your medical records once a release form is signed.

 

Where do I send my medical records?

Your records can be hand delievered or faxed to 210-616-0155. 

 

How do I get a prescription? 

If you are a new patient you MUST come in for an appointment before the doctor can prescribe ANY medications.  Controlled Substances also require an office visit. 

 

How do I get my prescription refilled?

Call your pharmacy and request a refill and they will send the request to our office.

 

How do I get my billing records?

Our office can provide you with your records. 

 

When is Dr. Lenderman in the office?

Dr. Lenderman is only in the office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.  

 

Is Dr. Lenderman under my insurance plan?

You will have to check with your insurance company or call our office to verify. 

 

How much is my co-payment?

Co-payments vary and they are usually located on your health insurance card.
